Middle School Caregiver LEARN

SPS Middle School parents and caregivers are welcome to attend this important training. Parents and caregivers can play a significant role in suicide prevention. Knowing what to look for, how to intervene, and where to turn for information and resources are all important pieces in helping keep youth safe and supported.

Developed by Forefront Suicide Prevention at the University of Washington, you will learn a five-step process to help you talk with someone you’re concerned about, ask directly if they are considering suicide, and take the initial steps to keep them safe.
