Forefront's Impact
Empowering individuals and communities
We have provided suicide prevention training to nearly 70,000 professionals and community members across WA state. The Safer Homes, Suicide Aware campaign is working to lock and limit access to unsecured firearms and medications.
Leading policy and systemic change
Forefront has championed 11 state laws and positioned WA as the first state requiring health professionals to have suicide prevention training. Our partnerships prepare 46 high schools and 60 higher education institutions to prevent suicide.
Restoring hope to suicide loss and attempt survivors
Over 30 community organizers across the state are working to educate their communities, legislature and media on mental health promotion and suicide prevention. We believe we all have a role to play, and that together, we will save lives.
